Mr. Jacob Hunter
High School Advisor
Mr. Hunter is from DeWitt, IA, and was a '07 graduate from Central DeWitt High School. He then continued his education at Iowa State University studying Agriculture and Life Science Education. Mr. Jacob Hunter was the former Director of Iowa Education Programs at the World Food Prize. He has 10 years of experience being an Agricultural Teacher and FFA Advisor. In 2022, Mr. Hunter graduated with a Master's in Education from the Harvard Graduate School Education in School Leadership. This will be Mr. Hunter's seventh year leading North Scott School District's Agriculture Program.

Ms. Emily Kruse
High School Advisor
Ms. Kruse grew up in Elkhorn, Wisconsin where she attended Elkhorn Area High School. During high school, she participated in the FFA program. After high school Ms. Kruse went to college at the University of Wisconsin- River Falls studying Agricultural Education. Ms. Kruse has previously worked in nurseries and greenhouse wholesalers where she focused on plant health. Her favorite part of FFA is getting to know students while they are exploring their passions. Some of Ms. Kruse's favorite activities include working with Farm Squad and coaching CDEs such as agronomy and ag sales!
Ms. Courtney Wiedenmann
Junior High Advisor
Ms. Wiedenmann grew up in Coal Valley, Illinois where she attended Orion High School and served as an FFA Chapter officer. She continued her education at Black Hawk College and then transferred to Oklahoma State University (OSU). Here she majored in Agricultural Education and minored in Animal Science. Ms. Wiedenmann has previously worked in numerous livestock and equine facilities as well as assisted with poultry health research projects at OSU. Her favorite part of FFA is helping students discover their potential for future careers. Some of Ms. Wiedenmann's favorite activities include National and State FFA Conventions and coaching the horse evaluation and soils judging CDE teams.
